Ash Tree Lane, Streethay

Three detached cottages, inspired by Lichfields Victorian Heritage
;

Description

Down the small village cul-de-sac of Ash Tree Lane, situated in Streethay, Lichfield is a trio of cottages that don’t stand out, in fact they blend right in. Inspired by the Lichfield extensive stock of Victorian architecture, this development again shows off what Hessleby Homes are all about. From top to bottom, they look to emulate the true attention to detail of local pre-war architecture. Feature fleur-de-lys ridge tiles, ornate timber barge boards, ‘true’ masonry arch windows and double plinth stretcher cills create an external façade that we at Hessleby consider our greatest achievement yet.

Externally they boast front gardens surrounded with estate fencing, paved driveways and sunken rear patios, private garden space and very mature trees surrounding. Ventilated with Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery systems, residents benefit from the highest air quality without losing heat in the process. Solar panels on the roofs and the option of solar batteries inside allow for inhabitants to avoid reliance on the grid and rising energy bills.

Building in village environments should include the upmost respect for the local vernacular, something we are proud to boast on these quaint, beautifully crafted new cottages.
